FINANCES

Our source of funding is expected to be from individuals, trusts, companies and the statutory sectors in the UK and across the world, and we will approach these along these lines:

Supporters and other individuals:

We will cultivate a strong support base of committed givers to maintain and support essential and core work of the organisation, and from time to time we shall send appeals to individuals in support of activities that the trustees may determine from time to time.

Eritrean community:

There is a sizeable number of Eritrean community in the UK and the trustees are well aware of the community’s desire to support fellow compatriots in Eritrea. We shall solicit funds from within the community for specifically designed ‘Community Programme Projects’ in Anseba. We shall also ask the community to support the core work of the organisation

Europe and International:

We shall identify and enlarge year by year the donor base of reputable international donors (NGOs trusts and corporate companies) and will persevere to establish and maintain a long term working relationship with them.

UK trusts:

Anseba Development will identify and widen the support of UK trusts for its core and project work.

Local resources:

Anseba Development will identify and help develop local resources in the region – human and financial – and use them effectively to upgrade local capacities and also for matching funds raised elsewhere.
